YEP! I am going on one......friday night. What am I thinking? Good question. Haha, I have mixed emotions about it. But, hey- part of life is experiencing different things, right?! The way I see it, I will hopefully gain another friend. To be continued........

Go for it girl!!! Just make sure you meet in a public place and DON'T have him pick you up at your place. That's a definite no-no. Have a plan prearranged for about an hour into the date that someone calls you. If all is well tell the designated person something like "I appreciate your calling, but I'm rather busy at the moment. Can I call you back later"? If it's going badly say something like, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I'll be there as quickly as I can". Hang up and tell Mr. Blind Date that you're so sorry but a dear friend just received some bad family news (or something like that) and you are going to you need to leave shortly and apologize again. Hence, if you meet in a public place, you have your own transportation and he won't know where you live if it's a crappy date. I know these things. Remember it wasn't too long ago that I was doing blind dates too. Better safe than sorry!
